Hi there! My name is JessLynn Rodriguez and I am your senior class president. If you ever can’t find me with class officers I’ll be under those Friday Night Lights cheering on our MIGHTY BULLDOGS!! I am also a student in the CNA program provided by Midland College. I plan to pursue my dream of becoming a Pediatric Doctor after high-school! If you’re ever in need of a little assistance student officers will be there to help! I am most excited to cheer on our bulldogs on those Friday nights! My name is Blane Wheeless and I am the Class of 2025's Treasurer. I serve as the Vice President of Philanthropy and Membership in the state champion troupe, MHS theatre, and as a State Thespian Officer for Texas Thespians. I am also the President of Student Council and a member of the 2nd Runner up at State robotics team, Junkyard Dawgs. I participate in band, which qualified for state, and speech, which I went to region for last year. I am a member of National Honor Society and a part of the PTSA. I am very excited for the next school year and I cannot wait to the see the success from all the different clubs at MHS.

Hello! I’m Kobe Peña and I’m Junior Class Secretary for 2024-2025. I enjoy art and illustration, and I am a medalist for the Visual Arts Scholastic Event for Midland High School. I’m currently enrolled in AP World History and have donated to the Midland Soup Kitchen along with my fellow Officers. Something that interests me is getting to know people and being as sociable as I can.

Hi, I’m Abigail Donnelly! I’m the 2024-25 Junior Class Treasurer. I’m part of your Varsity Lady Dawgs Soccer Team and Varsity Lady Dawgs Track team as a pole vaulter. I also play winger for my club soccer team, FC Dallas West Texas. I want to fly as a fighter pilot for the US Navy or US Air Force. I volunteer at Safe Place, which is a non profit organization for the safety of abused women and children. I’m also apart of the Midland Symphony Guild as a Belle, where I volunteer throughout the community. I’m an avid book reader and I enjoy camping and hanging out with my family and friends, including my two dogs.

My name is Markleigh Matthies and I am the Sophomore Class President. This is my first year being a Midland High Class Officer. I am a cross country runner, and I am a member of the FFA organization. In the FFA, I show pigs and rabbits; while also being the active secretary for our chapter, and helping spread leadership throughout our organization. I love to bake sweet treats, with my favorite being a Strawberry Shortcake and an Italian Creme Cakes. But with all my activities what I love most is spreading kindness to others, and helping whenever I can!

Through the FFA I participate in rabbit showing, and in leadership and public speaking events. In addition to being in Class Officers and the FFA, I am a Varsity cheerleader. I thoroughly enjoy being an active student, and do my best to participate in activities and clubs that will better my abilities at being a successful leader and that will help my school. I strive to be the best leader I can be, and someone that people can come to for guidance and support. Some extracurriculars I am involved in include being a diver for MHS as well as club, volunteering for Midland Memorial Hospital, and this past year I was student council secretary! As a class officer, I am looking forward to being a part of something that gives students memories they will cherish after graduation, contributing to the planning process that makes those events special, sharing ideas about fundraisers, and representing the school positively.
