Disney Day 2: Imagination Campus Teamwork Workshop + Hollywood Studios
Hello again Bulldogs! Today was an amazing day for us here in Disney World. We started the day very bright and early with breakfast in the lobby at 7:00 am and after plates full of Mickey waffles, we made our way to the skyliner. Then after passing through security we met up with out Imagination Campus leaders Jeff and Jorge. Mrs. Krol split us into two groups and our longly awaited workshop began!
The emphasis on today’s lesson was teamwork and what it meant to us. Our instructors led us through many team building exercises that taught us the three C’s in teamwork: Communication, Compromise and Consensus. Each activity demonstrated our small groups strengths and weaknesses and how they influenced the methods we chose. The last activity was a scavenger hunt throughout Galaxy’s End, the Star Wars themed section of Hollywood Studios. This was a fun way to take everything we had learned and apply it to something new and fun. Once our hunt came to an end, it was time for a quick group lunch then it was off to explore the parks!
No ride went untaken when it came to us, everyone experienced almost everything at least once. No snack went uneaten either, from Mickey Ice Cream Bars to Mickey Pretzels a few of our officers got to experience these foods and fun for the very first time! At the very end of today, all of us met back up to go experience the Fantasmic light show and it was sure a great way to end the day!
The first day of workshops was a huge success and we can’t wait to explore Magic Kingdom together tomorrow!
